It will examine the nuance and challenge that people of color face in living a life of Full-Respect under systems of patriarchy and white supremacy. This webinar will also emphasize the powerful potential for change that can occur when we hold ourselves and others in warm regard.

Desirae Ysasi is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board-Approved Supervisor in San
Antonio, TX with over 18 years of clinical experience. She runs a thriving group private practice offering a variety of therapeutic counseling services both in-person and virtually. Desirae works exclusively with clients in relationship, providing weekly/biweekly therapy sessions, two-day Couples Intensives, and weekend workshops.
Desirae is a certified Relational Life Therapist. She is the Director of Training for the Relational Life Institute, facilitating training and mentoring to RLT certification students around the world.
She also offers private training and consultation to mental health clinicians and coaches studying the Relational Life Therapy model. In her downtime, Desirae enjoys reading, yoga, and gardening. She loves traveling with her husband and daughter as well as exploring local events and activities in her beloved city of San Antonio.
Deran Young is a licensed therapist specializing in racial trauma and legacy burdens. She is also a Co-Author of the New York Times Best Seller, You Are Your Best Thing, a retired military officer, and founder of Black Therapists Rock.
Black Therapists Rock is a non profit organization with a network of over 30,000 mental health professionals committed to reducing the psychological impact of systemic oppression and intergenerational trauma. She obtained her social work degree from University of Texas, where she studied abroad in Ghana, West Africa for two semesters creating a high school counseling center for under-resourced students. Deran has visited over 37 different countries and her clinical experience spans across four different continents.
Her passion for culture and people has led her to become a highly sought after diversity and inclusion consultant working with companies like BBERG, Facebook, Linked In, and YWCA. She resides in the Washington DC area with her young son.
