Our Community

Annual Membership

The psychological well-being of our community, and the society as a whole, is in a critical state. We are the first responders of social and emotional wellness for individuals, families and organizations. Black Therapists Rock works towards Community Development by supporting healers who are vital to our collective forward movement. We actively strive to increase diversity awareness and inclusivity in therapeutic spaces that foster collective healing, transformation and growth.

Through networking, training, and personal development support, we strive to ensure the highest quality of services are provided to our communities. We partner with other organizations to provide free or reduced culturally relevant trainings to increase emotional wellness and the application of self care skills such as self-awareness, self-confidence, positive thinking, goal setting, responsible decision making, and healthy relationships. By normalizing/encouraging prevention based education, we reduce barriers to psychological health and decrease stigma against seeking additional support when needed. It’s time to let the world know that we are dedicated professionals and we absolutely ROCK!

Why Members Join Black Therapists Rock!

I think that it’s one you take in doses, you know? Um, it’s why I travel frequently because, to be able to, to kind of go back to your original question, is trauma necessary? It depends on your, your circumstances, you know, in the wild, it depends on where you are in the food chain.
