This workshop is an exciting opportunity that builds on the original IFS model and integrates the ketamine-assisted therapy protocol, allowing participants to integrate these concepts into their practice.

This training incorporates anti-oppressive, social justice, and multicultural considerations, with special emphasis on serving marginalized communities, including the LGBTQ and trans communities.

After this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Explain the fundamentals of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and its utility in treating mental health symptoms and racial trauma, particularly when combined with Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
  • Identify the three-pronged process of KAP
  • Describe the advantages of using IFS as a supportive model in KAP
  • Describe the concept of cultural humility and explain how this perspective can enhance the effectiveness of both IFS and KAP in achieving sustainable healing outcomes
  • List three strategies for addressing culture, racial trauma, and biases in clinical practice
