December 10-15, 2023 – for BTR Members
Join Deran Young and other BTR Members in Santa Fe, New Mexico for 25 hours of training. The cost is $1500 (excluding travel). CE credits will be offered (details to follow).
Summary of Training:
4.5-day training experience that gives practitioners a clear sense of how to prepare, administer and integrate the ketamine experience. We will engage interactive teaching modules in the most effective strategies, orientations and frameworks in Psychedelic Therapy and Ketamine Assisted Therapy.
Participants will have the opportunity to experience all aspects of a therapeutic ketamine experience—including preparation and integration. We value a humanistic approach and will offer support for your personal process with the medicine and material as an integral piece of professional preparedness.
Description of the Training Experience:
Participants will all have individual meetings with a training facilitator in the preceding weeks to discuss intentions and begin the transformation process. Participants will experience being both the journeyer and the sitter for intramuscular ketamine sessions. The general format will include a ceremony to open and close the container, didactic and experiential education, case discussion, medicine sessions, facilitated group integration, and access to ongoing personal support. Remote group integration will occur at one week, three weeks, and six weeks following the close of the experiential group training. Ongoing integration and education opportunities will be available based on group desire and availability.
