BTR is searching for our 2025 Sankofa Summit and Community Learning Program Speakers!
Black Therapists Rock has two opportunities to hone your speaking and presentation skills and introduce yourself and your work to the community. Each year we host a virtual summit in February. Last year’s speakers can be found here. The Sankofa Summit for 2025 will be held February 28 and March 1, 2025. Would you like to be one of the speakers featured? Also, BTR’s Community Learning Program offers members a platform to present complimentary webinars as an opportunity for members to share their work on the BTR platform throughout the year. Bringing Biofeedback and Neurofeedback to BTR
BTR has been working with expert Harry L. Campbell, BPS, who is BCIA Certified in Biofeedback and Neurofeedback, President of Biofeedback Resources International Corporation, and past President of North East Regional Biofeedback Society. Harry and the team at Biofeedback Resources would like to encourage more providers of color to become trained with these tools in order to help their clients. IFS and Psychedelics Clinical Consultation Group November 4 @ 1:00 pm – December 9 @ 3:00 pm ET
This 6-week, 120-minute group is designed to provide a creative and supportive environment for internal family systems (IFS) informed or certified clinicians to discuss psychedelic preparation, dosing, integration work within the discourse of IFS. The group has an enrollment limit of 10 and each week two members of the group will present clinical material; usually this will mean material from patients in treatment, but other subjects of presentation are welcome, such as material from a non-clinical setting or direct personal experience. Group members will be asked to prepare and share their case presentations with the group before the presentation. A limited number of diversity scholarships are available.
