Heal the Healers BTR Book Club’s winter read is Ken Hardy’s Racial Trauma Clinical Strategies and Techniques for Healing Invisible Wounds. Hosted by Black Therapists Rock founder, Deran Young and BTR board member Denise Montgomery, the club is a delightful haven for readers of all kinds open to the entire community. We’ll discover new authors and share perspectives on the information covered. We’ll also have the pleasure of inviting authors to join us for virtual discussions, giving us unique insights into their works. Our mission is to create a welcoming community where everyone can connect, engage, and grow through the magic of reading. The winter read dates are February 25, April 1, and April 29, 2026. Bringing Biofeedback and Neurofeedback to BTR
BTR has been working with expert Harry L. Campbell, BPS, who is BCIA Certified in Biofeedback and Neurofeedback, President of Biofeedback Resources International Corporation, and past President of North East Regional Biofeedback Society. Harry and the team at Biofeedback Resources would like to encourage more providers of color to become trained with these tools in order to help their clients. 2026 IFS Level 1 Training BTR Cohort Application closed March 1, 2026
2026 applications are closed. However, we are thrilled to offer a BIPOC BTR Cohort of IFS Level 1 and Level 2 training to Black Therapists Rock Stars every year. If you are a current BTR Rock Star (paid membership), you are eligible to apply for a BTR BIPOC cohort spot. Please note, BTR membership must be active at the time of this training. We also have a limited number of full-tuition George Floyd Scholarships for Black male therapists. BTR will send out an email and post application details on our FB groups. You will also be able to find the application on the IFS Partner Page here when it opens for 2027.
