IFS 2025 Level 2 Training
We are very excited to offer an IFS Level 2 (1174) Intensive: Shame, Anxiety and Depression: An IFS Approach to Black Therapists Rock Stars! If you are a current BTR Rock Star (paid membership) and have completed IFS Level 1, you are eligible to apply for a scholarship spot. Please note, BTR membership must be active to be eligible for the scholarship and at the time of this training. We also have a limited number of full-tuition George Floyd Scholarships for Black male therapists. To learn more and apply for a scholarship click here! BTR Cohort at MAPS Psychedelic Science Conference June 16-20, 2025 in Denver, Colorado
BTR is gathering members who are interested in attending the next MAPS Psychedelic Science conference June 16-20, 2025 in Denver, Colorado. The conference is the largest psychedelic community and industry gathering in the world. This is the second year BTR members will attend. It’s glorious meeting up in person! Scholarship opportunities have been announced by MAPS! If you’d like a MAPS 2025 conference scholarship, please fill out their application immediately. The spots are limited and will fill up! Bringing Biofeedback and Neurofeedback to BTR
BTR has been working with expert Harry L. Campbell, BPS, who is BCIA Certified in Biofeedback and Neurofeedback, President of Biofeedback Resources International Corporation, and past President of North East Regional Biofeedback Society. Harry and the team at Biofeedback Resources would like to encourage more providers of color to become trained with these tools in order to help their clients. Scholarships for BTR Members for Biofeedback and Neurofeedback Training

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Level 1 Training BIPOC Cohort August 12, 2025 – March 10, 2026
Learn skills to notice and process the residues of traumatic experience that are held in your clients’ bodies. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy helps you to work with your clients beyond words, with the often implicit somatic patterns related to traumatic experience to help inspire lasting change from the inside, out. Discover a new dimension of effective therapy with SP by going beyond the verbal story and tapping into the wisdom of the body. SPI is committed to an active, ongoing process of decolonizing their curriculum and integrating an anti-racist, anti-oppression perspective into their institute and clinical work. 2025/2026 Compassionate Inquiry® Professional Online Training September 16, 2025 – September 29, 2026 Tuesdays, 1pm-2:30pm ET BLAIPOC Cohort
We are very excited to offer a 2025/2026 Compassionate Inquiry® Professional Online Training to Black, Latinx, Asian, Indigenous, People of Color BTR Members. Compassionate Inquiry® is a 240 hour, year-long training. It is a graduate level, trauma-informed psychotherapeutic approach to add onto an already existing clinical and mental health practice. Facilitated by Vimalasara (Dr. Valerie Mason-John), this program focuses on bringing compassion, respect, acceptance, insight, healing, freedom and connection to humanity through an international community of skillful Compassionate Inquiry Practitioners.
