What’s been happening at BTR
We launched Heal the Healers BTR Book Club with the announcement of our summer read – Prentis Hemphill’s What it Takes to Heal: How Transforming Ourselves Can Change the World. Hosted by Black Therapists Rock board members Denise Montgomery and Tiffany Ashe, the club is a delightful haven for readers of all kinds open to the entire community. Every three months, we’ll discover new authors and share perspectives on the information covered. We’ll also have the pleasure of inviting authors to join us for virtual discussions, giving us unique insights into their works. Your voice matters here, so we warmly encourage you to submit titles and suggestions for future reads. Our mission is to create a welcoming community where everyone can connect, engage, and grow through the magic of reading. Let’s turn the page together and discover the beauty of stories, one book at a time. Book club dates are: June 25, July 30, and August 27 at 6pm-7:30pm ET. Register to join us here!
