Introduction to Counseling Black Women with Kimberly Parker, LPC-S, LCDC
Join Black Therapists Rock for a dynamic Community Learning Program webinar led by Kimberly Parker, LCSW. This free webinar is designed for mental health professionals who are ready to expand their capacity to serve Black women with deeper understanding, cultural humility, and care. Everyone who registers will receive a recording of the webinar. Register here!
Black women are too often expected to be resilient without rest, strong without softness, and selfless without acknowledgment. In therapeutic spaces, this can show up as resistance, silence, or self-sacrifice—when it’s really unspoken pain or unmet needs. This training offers clinicians and care providers the chance to better recognize, hold, and respond to those needs with insight and intention.
Whether you’re at the beginning of your learning or revisiting foundational practices through a fresh, equity-informed lens, this session will offer practical tools, awareness-building, and space for reflection. Recordings will be sent to all registrants. Register to join Black Therapists Rockstar Kimberly Parker here!
